Adult Bible Study

Small Adult Groups

This is a group of people you meet with regularly who will encourage, care, and pray for you as you grow in your walk in the Lord.

These groups meet weekly or bi-weekly on various days or evenings.

Medium Adult Groups

There are three main adult groups that you can be involved with “Where you are at, in your stage in Life”

30’s (Give or Take)

This group consists of people in their mid twenties to mid forties. Some are single, some are married with younger children. They meet once every six to eight weeks for connecting, encouragment and having fun.

40’s and 50’s

This group consists of people in their early 40’s and 50’s. Some are single, some are married, with teenagers or “empty nesters”. They meet once every six to eight weeks for connecting, encouragement and having fun.

Young at Heart (55 plus)

This group consists of people past 55. They meet monthly for connecting, encouragement and having fun.

Seniors Bible Study will commence on Thursday, January 10th, 2013 @ 10 a.m.

Seniors With A Purpose (SWAP) – will resume in the fall.

A bible study to equip seniors in facing issues unique to the aging process.  For more information, please contact Pastor Steve Bell.

Ladies’ Bible Study

Whether we are married, single, divorced or widowed; whether we have chosen motherhood and/or a career, we are all daughters of Eve. But what could women of this 21^st century possibly learn from women who lived in a time where their world evolved around drawing water at the town well, herding sheep, being victims of arranged or levirate marriages and having their worth gauged by childbearing? Do our fears and sorrows, hopes and joys connect with theirs? With over 150 women named in the Bible, how can we hope to learn anything they might have to offer if we don’t tap into their lives? Come and discover that these ancient voices still speak to us today.

DivorceCare is a 13 week, biblically based support group seminar for people who are separated or divorced.

It’s a place where you can be around people who understand what you are feeling. It’s a place where you can hear valuable information about ways to heal from the hurt of divorce.

Calling All Hockey Players!

For the past 40 years, Fairview Baptist Church has participated in the Kawartha Baptist Hockey League. The 6 team Men’s League plays on Saturday nights at Ops Community Centre from October through March. For the past several years, Fairview has had 2-3 teams in the league.
