At Fairview, we seek to develop a small group ministry that provides an environment where participants experience authentic community and spiritual growth.
Our groups strive toward a common vision of doing life together in Christ.
When we think of authentic community, we envision an environment of mutual Sharing, Caring and Prayer for one another.
When we think of spiritual growth, we think of joining together in an all-out pursuit of intimacy with God no matter where we are in our spiritual journey.
In a small group, people study God's Word together and discuss the issues and challenges of life. It's a place where they pray together, care for one another, and are missed if they don't show up. It is also a place where they seek to be the practical hands and feet of Jesus, reaching out together to serve our community and beyond.
Most groups meet weekly and consist of 8 - 12 people who meet for about 2 hours at a time. Participants are asked to make attendance and participation a priority.
At Fairview we believe that intentional relationships are key to sustained spiritual growth and community transformation. That's why small groups are such an important part of our discipleship strategy.
Practically speaking, there will never be a way for the Staff or Elders to personally minister to everyone who attends our Church. That's why we place such a high premium on group life. It's how we can minister most effectively at Fairview.
So What About You!!
Why are you not in a Small Group?
